Sunil Gupta is an Indian born artist and photographer based in London. Queer is his first monograph and offers a comprehensive overview of his work from the 1970s to the present. For decades he has explored narratives of contemporary gay life; tackled issues of gender and sexuality; and documented his own experiences living with AIDS. Frank Cadogan Cowper was an English painter and illustrator of portraits, historical and literary scenes, described as “The last of the Pre-Raphaelites”.
He worked in both watercolours and oils, and also worked as book illustrator - providing the illustrations for Sir Sidney Lee’s The Imperial Shakespeare.
As art fashion changed Cowper increasingly exhibited his portrait paintings but still continued to produce historical and literary works.
